No-Cook Strawberry Syrup

My fresh strawberry syrup adds sweetness, freshness, and a touch of fun and glamour to ice cream, yogurt, and many other desserts.

Peach Cobbler

My no-cook, fresh strawberry syrup elevates yogurt, ice cream, or any other dessert in no time. Sweet, juicy, strawberries are one of nature’s most wonderful creations. In short, strawberries have it all; they are vibrant red, sweet, yet sour flavor, with small crunchy seeds. But, even beyond that strawberries are fresh and clean and remind us that organic, unspoiled fruits are what we’re MEANT to be eating.

My fresh strawberry syrup is so simple to make. The fresher, plumper the better when it comes to strawberries, although in a pinch you can use frozen as well. Strawberry syrup makes our mouths water and our senses jump. Simply smelling this simple strawberry sauce is a delight to the senses and a little bit of heaven.

Hello, I'm Denise.

I love to eat, garden, travel, and do yin yoga! I make plant-based recipes and photograph them from my 1920’s, remodeled apartment in Rhode Island. I've always loved fresh basil. Put some fresh basil leaves on a piece of cardboard, drizzle on a little olive oil and sea salt, and I'd be tempted to eat it! ❤️

Reasons You’ll LOVE This Simple No-Cook Strawberry Syrup.

There are many, but here is just a couple.

      • It’s no-cook – My no-cook, fresh strawberry syrup calls for 2 ingredients without cooking.
      • It’s FRESH! You can purchase strawberry syrup from the market, but it won’t be as fresh.
      • There are no additives or added sugars – My fresh strawberry syrup doesn’t need sweeteners and the taste isn’t clouded by additives. However, I do add either a drop of agave or maple syrup sometimes.
      • It’s sweet and a bit tart! The flavor is insane! The strawberries carry the day here. This fresh strawberry syrup elevates ice cream, yogurt, or any other dessert.

How To Make Fresh Strawberry Syrup

This is so easy you’ll wonder what took you so long to try it.

    • Add 1 cup of fresh strawberries to a high-speed blender – Fresh strawberries are the best here, although you can use frozen if you can’t get fresh!
    • Combine with 1 tsp of agave or maple syrup – We like to use agave or maple syrup rather than processed sugar. Agave brings out the natural flavor of the strawberries and isn’t too sweet!
    • Pink sea salt – Sea salt makes the flavors pop!
    • Give this a quick blend, but not too much. Less than one minute on high should do the trick.

    • Thick Greek Vegan Parfait – This fresh strawberry sauce is a natural when added to my Thick, Greek Yogurt Parfait. It complements tangy vegan greek yogurt and adds visual appeal.
    • Vegan Greek Yogurt Dessert – My Vegan Greek Yogurt Dessert is a favorite with family and friends. I use my fresh, strawberry sauce for visual appeal and also a natural sweetness.
    • Vegan Ice Cream. Drizzle your no-cook, fresh strawberry syrup on any ice cream. I prefer vanilla (of course!), but it works with any style or flavor.
