Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces regular spaghetti or fusilli
  • 1/3 cups extra-virgin olive oil, more for drizzling
  • 3 full garlic cloves, sliced
  • 2 1/2 pints cherry tomatoes, divided
  • 2 1/2 tbsp capers
  • 2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tbsp red pepper flakes (your choice for more or less)
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh basil
  • Pecorino cheese, vegan Parmesan cheese (which works just as well)
